70th Jubilee
Sister Helene Gutchewsky was born in Omaha, Nebraska. She entered the Sisters of the Most Precious Blood in 1955 and was received into the novitiate in 1956.
She entered as a Sister of St. Joseph of Carondelet in 1993.
From 1988 to 2002, she served as a kitchen manager at the St. Joseph Provincial House in St. Louis.
She then served one year as the cook/portress of St. Monica Rectory in Creve Coeur, Missouri. From 2004 to 2013, Sister Helene was the cook/housekeeper at Sacred Heart Parish in Crystal City, Missouri.
Since 2015, she has resided at Nazareth Living Center in St. Louis, where she continues to carry out her ministry of prayer and presence.
