In the presence of constant and painful reminders of the deep roots of racism in our country, the Sisters of St. Joseph to deepening our awareness of our complicity and work toward dismantling interlocking systems of oppression. We pledge prayer, education and advocacy, using our collective voice in collaboration with others to establish racial justice.
Foundational to the principles of Catholic Social Teaching is the belief in the sanctity of human life and the inherent dignity of the human person. We believe we are one human family, in solidarity with one another.
