On Sunday, June 2, Sister Kristina DeNeve renewed her initial/temporary vows during Mass at Nazareth Living Center. She will be a participant in the Life Commitment Program with the Religious Formation Conference this July as she begins her preparations for final vows this year. "As Kristina’s sisters, we rejoice and are grateful for Kristina’s continuing commitment to follow the call of our loving God as a Sister of St. Joseph of Carondelet," says Sister Mary Margaret Lazio. "Our lives are enriched and blessed by her presence. As a community, we pray for and support one another to live our commitment to bring about loving unity among ourselves, with our neighbors, and all of creation."
Sister Kristina had this to say about her experience:
"God is so good to have led me to our community! I feel so blessed and grateful to be continuing my life’s journey as a CSJ.
I’ve grown and stretched, died and been transformed so much over these past five and a half years. I love the person I’m becoming, the person God is creating me to be. It has not been easy, but I love that I can see God using our community and life’s experiences to invite me to grow more into myself. God invites us to become more together!
Please pray for me as I begin final vow preparations during this upcoming year, including my participation in the Life Commitment Program with the Religious Formation Conference July 8-15."
