On Oct. 23, the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet’s Kansas City Regional Mission Advancement Office held an in-person and virtual Linger Over Breakfast event, a Saturday morning program that promises to feed your mind, body and spirit. The program featured Jessie and Jordan Schiele from Jerusalem Farm, a Catholic Intentional community located in Kansas City, Missouri, who explored how to incorporate green living into our lives. Founded in 2012, with the support of Avila University and the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet, Jerusalem Farm is built on the four cornerstones of prayer, community, service, and simplicity. The members strive to transform their lives and those around them through sustainable living, service retreat experiences and home repair.
