The generosity of our contributors was so great, we had to make two trips to the border to deliver the coats collected in December for the Catholic Charities center in Laredo, Texas. Sisters Mary Louise Basler and Jo Ann Geary made the run in January and reported there was a shortage of socks and underwear at the center. Thanks to monetary donations, we were able to provide over $900 worth of undergarments, socks and deodorant.
