"Journey to CSJ Association"

Overview: The “Journey to CSJ Association” Sessions:

All sessions are online and last ninety minutes. Each session includes prayer, presentations by sisters and associates, individual and small group reflection, and suggestions for additional resources.  

  1. Becoming an Associate Overview of Associate Identity, how we come together in small groups, and the unique spiritual practice of “Sharing of the Heart.”
  2. Relating to the CSJ Family Tree Identify and reflect on the CSJ characteristics of key historical individuals related to our Mission, Ministry and Spirituality.
  3. Mission and Ministry for Justice and Mercy: Discuss and reflect on current areas of focus for ministries of sisters and associates at all levels (local to world-wide).
  4. Directed by Spirit: Explore the influences to CSJ Spirituality by St. Joseph, Fr. Medaille, St. Ignatius of Loyola, and St. Francis de Sales. Identify evolving ways to pray/relate to God, the Dear Neighbor, and Creation.
  5. Present-Day Community of St. Joseph: Understand possible means of connection for Mission, Ministry and Spirituality to The Motherhouse, province committees, and different levels of the Congregations of St. Joseph.
  6. Discerning Commitment to Association: Share the commitment expectations and what the process is like. Bless and Send candidates to begin the next phase, “Journey with the Community,” which includes six regular sessions with a current or newly formed small group of associates and sisters.
