The motherhouse was restored and renovated in 2000, keeping intact its history while providing all of God’s people with opportunity to meet, socialize, reflect and worship within its walls.
When you walk through the halls of the Carondelet Motherhouse, you will see some of the original parlor wooden flooring, beautiful stained glass windows, graceful staircases, historic china and so much more.
The historic building has been placed on the National Register of Historic Buildings, but it is not a museum. It is currently home to the St. Louis province administration offices and some of our sisters who reside here.
The building is also host to a variety of events including meetings, retreats and other special events.
