S. Nora Eftink
Sister Nora Eftink, CSJ
Biographical:
Sister Nora Eftink was born in Portageville, Missouri. She entered the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet in 1950 and was received into the novitiate in 1950 as Sister Mary Raymond.
Service in the Archdiocese of St. Louis:
Sister Nora began her career in dietary service at Fontbonne University in the 1950s. In the 1960s and 1970s she served her CSJ community as food production manager at the province motherhouse in South St. Louis. For 20 years she served as a dietary aide at Nazareth Living Center in South County.
Service outside the Archdiocese:
Sister has served in Missouri, Cincinnati, Ohio and Illinois
About Sister Nora Eftink, CSJ:
Sister retired in 2007 in St. Louis and continues to carry out her ministry of prayer and witness.
