50th Jubilee
Sister Nancy was born in St. Louis, Mo. She entered the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet in 1961 and was received into the novitiate in 1962 as Sister Leanne Joseph. She received a bachelor’s degree in biology from Fontbonne College in 1966 and a master’s degree in biology from St. Mary College in Winona, Minn., in 1974. 

In 1973, after teaching in Colorado and Illinois, Sister Nancy began 23 years of dedicated service at St. Joseph’s Academy in St. Louis both as teacher and as administrator after receiving a secondary administration certification.

In 2002 she began her service at Our Lady of Life Apartments, part of Cardinal Ritter Senior Services in the Archdiocese of St. Louis where she is currently the director of marketing services.
