Sister Mary Naomi Treml, CSJ

 

Biographical:

Sister Mary Naomi Treml, baptized Rose Margaret, was born in Luxemberg, Wisconsin.  She entered the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet in 1939 and was received into the novitiate in 1940. She received a bachelor’s degree in nursing education from the College of St. Teresa in 1960.

  

Service in the Archdiocese of St. Louis:

Over her 30-year career in nursing Sister Mary Naomi served at St. Joseph’s Home for Boys (1940s); as nursing supervisor at St. Joseph Hospital (1960s); and as both head of nursing and director of nursing service at Nazareth Living Center in the 1960s and 1970s. 

 

Service outside the Archdiocese: 

Sister has served in nursing and pastoral ministry in Missouri, Michigan, and Wisconsin

 

About Sister Mary Naomi Treml, CSJ:

Since her retirement in 2000 Sister Mary Naomi has resided at Nazareth Living Center in South County where she continues to carry out her ministry of prayer and witness.
