Sister Maria Cabrini Oldani, CSJ
Biographical:
Sister Maria Cabrini Oldani, baptized Julia Adele, was born in St. Louis. She entered the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet in 1939 and was received into the novitiate in 1940. She received a bachelor’s degree in education from Fontbonne College in 1953.
Service in the Archdiocese:
Sister Maria Cabrini taught in the 1940s and 1950s at St. Matthew Parish, St. Agnes School, and St. Thomas Aquinas High.
Service outside the Archdiocese of St. Louis:
Sister has served in education and parish ministry in Missouri, Michigan, Indiana, Wisconsin and Colorado.
About Sister Maria Cabrini Oldani, CSJ:
Since her retirement in 2001 Sister Maria Cabrini has resided at Nazareth Living Center in South County where she continues to carry out her ministry of prayer and witness.
