November 17, 2011: More than 70 representatives from the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet's (CSJ) sponsored institutions gathered at the St. Louis motherhouse for Sponsorship Day. Sisters, senior staff and board members from seven institutions explored the topic of diversity through the theme "Embracing the Multicultural Face of God," with keynote speaker, Cheryl Polk, executive vice president of the United Way of Greater St. Louis.

In the afternoon, representatives from the institutions presented the Sisters of St. Joseph a special proclamation in honor of their 175th anniversary of their American founding.

Sponsorship Day provides the opportunity for the leaders to focus on how to continue to grow the CSJ mission at their institutions, to share best practices, to connect with the province leadership and to interact with one another.
