Please pray for the repose of the soul of Sister Nathanael Joseph Brune, CSJ who departed this life on Wednesday, May 12 at Nazareth Living Center in St. Louis. She was 88 and died of pneumonia.

Sister Nathanael, baptized Cecilia, was born in Brinktown, Missouri. She was received into the novitiate in 1941.

Sister Nathanael's mission in life was service to CSJ sponsored St. Joseph Institute for the Deaf, where she served in a variety of positions from 1943 to 2005.

In 2005 she retired to Nazareth Living Center where she carried out her ministry of prayer and witness.

She is survived by her brother, Lawrence Brune, of St. Charles, Missouri.

Services were Friday, May 14 at Nazareth Living Center in St. Louis, MO. She is buried at Resurrection Cemetery.
