Sister Barbara Moore, who marched 50 years ago for African-American voting rights in Selma, Alabama, with delegations of many other religious men and women, reflects at the 50th anniversary presidential rally aside Sister Jane Kelly who has lived in Selma since the 1970s.

Fifty years ago the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet had a presence at the Selma marches. Today, they also had a presence at the 50th anniversary march. Their stories were covered in many media reports and continue to receive coverage.
