motherhouse programs

The motherhouse is the spiritual home where generations of novices completed initial formation, lived in community, and trained for ministry. Today, some sisters reside in renovated private living quarters.

Hospitality is an expression of the cordial charity to which the Sisters of St. Joseph are called. In keeping with their charism, they continue to invite guests of all faiths who seek to work and live in harmony with the mission of the sisters.

Guests are welcome for conferences, meetings, retreats and special events. Guest quarters are available for those attending meetings or visiting community members.

For more information about the motherhouse services and amenities, contact the Hospitality Department at hospitality@csjsl.org or 314-481-8800.
