About the film
An Inconvenient Truth makes the compelling case that global warming is real, man-made, and its effects will be cataclysmic if we don’t act now. Gore presents a wide array of facts and information in a thoughtful and compelling way: often humorous, frequently emotional, and always fascinating. In the end, An Inconvenient Truth accomplishes what all great films should: it leaves the viewer shaken, involved and inspired.

About the JustEarth Film Festival
The Just Earth Film Festival for sisters and associates will resume in 2017. The festival, which began in September, presents a selected film each month to help inform our action on behalf of the Earth community and invites us to reflect on aspects that include our love for the natural world, fair food, and the future of our planet.

A film will be shown twice on the third Wednesday of each month, January through May, at 1-2:30 p.m. and 6:30-8 p.m., at the Carondelet Motherhouse. A brief discussion will follow each film.

The festival continues with Ferngully on May 17.
