50th Jubilee

Sister Sally Harper was born in Norman, Okla. She entered the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet in 1963 and was received into the novitiate in 1964 as Sister William Clare.  She received a bachelor’s degree in speech and theater from Fontbonne College in 1969 and a master’s degree in religious studies from St. Louis University in 1977.

Sister Sally taught in the St. Louis Archdiocese at St. Thomas Aquinas High School in 1972. She served briefly in the Mission Office of the Generalate of the Congregation in 1992.

Sister Sally taught at Little Flower High School in Chicago, Ill. in the late 1960s.

For 37 years sister has ministered to the people of Peru as teacher, pastoral minister and now as a member of the Leadership Team of the Vice-Province of Peru.
